    Good morning dear fans!

I’m feeling all wispy and romantic at this Spring beginning, how about you?

And it’s almost Easter, can you believe it?

For this month’s printable I collaborated with a very wise bunny who insisted on flowery eggs and a pair of chirping birdies to bring you two Easter prints.

Both prints measure 8 by 10 inches, you could frame them above your mantel or even use as part of your wreath.

  3. St. Patricks inspiration ~ eat, drink and be green!

    March 6, 2012 by ivona

    Good morning dear fans!

I was a bit under the weather over the weekend so this week’s inspiration post comes a day late, but still in time for a cheerfully green St. Patrick day celebration :)

This idea of luck elixir in fun colored vintage bottles seems is a fun way to decorate for Spring, add a  bit of airiness and freshness to your indoors.

What would St. Patty’s be without green yummies right? I love this ombre cake from I am baker, and these free printable toppers  from Allen Designs are to die for.

  8. Holiday Baking: Chocolate Crinkles

    December 22, 2011 by ivona

I am a chocolate girl through and through so when a coworker brought these little babies in I gasped at the chocolaty richness of this humble cookie.

The simplicity  is refreshing after all the cut out cookies, you just mix, scoop, dip and roll.

  9. Holiday baking: Sugar Cookies

    December 21, 2011 by ivona

Sugar cookies are a must in our house. This year, I did not have time to put icing on them at all so we just “decorated” with different Christmas themed sprinkles prior to baking. The little one had a blast and there was sugar everywhere :)

There are many sugar cookie recipes out there but the one from Sweetopia works really well for me. Both Sweetopia and Sugarbelle have amazingly helpful decorating tips.

  10. Holiday baking: Almond Linzer cookies

    December 20, 2011 by ivona

    {source}

We had a hectic weekend of baking at our house. This year I decided to combine two of my favorite cookie recipes with two new ones for our holiday cookie tins.

I give these out to coworkers, friends and so on.

These linzer cookies were one of the two new recipes I wanted to try. I purchased the Wilton Lizer Cookie Cutters a while back but didn’t have a chance to try them out until now.

This recipe from Real Simple worked great and the cookie dough was really easy to work with. The only thing I would change for next time: I don’t think I will toast the almonds next time, they make the almond flavor overpowering.

For a full recipe click here.

I decked out our holiday tins with tags from our Gingerbread Man Free Printable set here.
